Air & Water Monitoring
EMS provides a range of environmental monitoring services, including air and water testing and monitoring. EMS utilise both engineers and scientists to carry out sampling and monitoring, with a selection of both in-house and external sampling equipment. We perform the testing at a range of sites including construction sites and commercial and industrial premises.
We are able to design and implement a complete monitoring system, from sampling program design and sample collection, through to processing of laboratory analysis results and provision of site technical advice and management recommendations.
Our approach is to design a monitoring program that meets the regulatory and project requirements of your site, utilising technically sound equipment and methodologies.
Our monitoring services include:
- Dust monitoring including inspirable, respirable, silica, airborne asbestos and synthetic mineral fibres.
- Indoor air quality monitoring including carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), temperature, humidity, bacteria, yeasts, moulds, fine airborne particulates and volatile organic compounds (VOC’s).
- Water quality monitoring including pH, heavy metals, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, PAH, TPH and BTEX, faceal coliforms, enterococci and temperature, as well as contaminants specific to your site, project or process.
As well as being able to access the latest externally available technology, EMS also retains in-house equipment including air quality monitors, photoionisation detectors and groundwater sampling pumps, to name but a few. We also operate a NATA accredited in-house laboratory for airborne fibre monitoring.
